In light of the upcoming Anguilla Female Football League (AFFL) Caribbean Commercial Bank (CCB) along with the Anguilla Football Association\'s (A.F.A) Female Development Officer, Mr. Colin Johson has started an awareness program for all primary schools on the island. Both campus A an B of the Albena Lake Comprehensive High School are also included in the school vists. The aim of this program is to sensitize young females about the league and the games in general. This is an opportunity to encourage the young ladies to take part in a sporting activity that could have far reaching and positive implications in their lives. It also serves to create a goal for the girls as opportunities in sports are quite prevalent in the United States and Europe.
The delegation that sets out on these school visits comprises of an A.F.A official, an A.F.F.L player and a representative from the league sponsor. C.C.B. the official from the A.F.A will discuss the possible benefits that football can have in their lives as they get older. The Player is their to share their experince with the pupils in hope that they will be inspired to carry on the lagacy created by the yooung ladies before them. The aim of the bank is to make the children aware of the opportunities that exists in football and to encourage the children to start saving through our Young Investors Club for their future.
